1/5/14 - Seats Out

The front and rear seats and seat-backs were carefully removed, leaving the Aqua-Flyer's inside hull completely accessible now.

With the seats out the extent of work on the ribs can be better judged.  There are fair amount of ribs that are either cracked or are severely checked that will need to be replaced.  The bilge stringers appear to be sound.  The upper porting of the stem appears to be excellent, but not sure about the condition of the lower end where it joins the keel... it looks pretty grayed and dirty and its hard to get under there.  There are clear traces that a bilge water collected in this area.

Also began stripping the polyester fiberglass and remove it from the sides above the spray rail and the flipped it over.
